Technological improvements to our factory led to production increases in the recent years with simultaneous optimization of its environmental impact. When compared to sulphate pulp mills worldwide, ZCL not only has a leading position in pulp quality, but also in the environmental performance. We achieve this through mutual cooperation with environmental authorities. Be it energy or water consumption, waste quantity, air or water emission, the ZCL environmental figures were well below the limit values stipulated by law in almost all areas. In the past visible improvements have been achieved year to year, particularly in the reduction of air emissions.
