Celgar interacts with the environment in all aspects of pulp production, from raw material procurement to pulp production and transportation of the final product to the customer - at all these points of the production process our company interacts with the environment. We bear responsibility for our employees, our customers and suppliers. We actively manage this obligation by doing everything we can to reduce our impact on the environment. This includes:

• Procurement of PEFC- and FSC-certified wood from approved sustainable forestry
• Compliance with the Chain of Custody standards of the PEFC and FSC schemes throughout the pulp production process
• Monitoring of the origin of our purchased wood according to the standards of FSC Controlled Wood Certification
• Compliance with environmental and safety standards throughout the entire company in line with the certified Quality and Environmental Management System according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and 14001
